The Sanctuary: San Antonio’s Only Medieval Boutique

The Sanctuary provides a unique medieval shopping experience. They are a full service boutique that caters to romantics, medieval enthusiasts, live-action role players, cosplayers, knights, squires, queens, princesses, and knaves alike. The Sanctuary will transport you to a land of chivalry, courage, poetry, and power. They will help you become the master of your domain.

Design Thinking

The brochure design captures the essence of a timeless letter, reminiscent of an ancient parchment, a medieval decree, or a royal proclamation. It’s written by the owners, referred to as ‘Our Lady and Lord,’ inviting everyone to visit ‘Our Castle’, the boutique. Where they will encounter a fusion of medieval marvels and the gracious company of the hosts.

The design incorporates aged paper, adorned with a wax seal bearing the store logo, and embellished with photographs of medieval elements. The color scheme predominantly features purple, symbolizing royalty in line with the brand’s identity, with touches of red for royal accents. Additionally, a simulated golden border or frame elegantly encircles the edges of the brochure. The brochure is ingeniously crafted to ensure that when unfolded, both sides seamlessly blend into one continuous background, presenting a cohesive experience of “Welcome” and “Looking for.” The paper itself shows a textured print resembling ancient castles, as though intricately painted onto aged parchment, enhancing its allure and charm.
